Our ancestors made big house for the entire family and we moved out to make our own as per our comfort. Our children will surely see their convenience and comfort on growing up. Thus the issue is "Whose responsibility is it to maintain a home, ancestors made with their blood and sweat"? Shall it be left at the mercy of nature to bring it down or the clan of ancestors should give it the bare minimum life booster? In case we can't respect the property they made with their entire saving, I wonder how much respect we have for them. It's emerging as a major problem in all historical towns. A visit to the Cellular Jail at Portblair, scrutinizing through the engraved list of people lodged here, made me ask myself, what motivated these young men to sacrifice their life for the country. Why people in uniform still sacrifice, in a country where self comes before the Nation. The answer may lie in form of tiny sparks of hope, wherein groups contribute to the future of our India in whatever way they can. Spare some time for India. Can you???? Happy INDEPENDENCE Day.
